On Monday, September 30th, Austin Pille was involved in an automobile accident on the way to school. The news spread quickly and before Austin could even get to the hospital, the word was reaching far beyond the city limits.   Austin played left tackle for the Royse City Bulldogs, number 74. He is a senior this year at Royse City High School.   Austin has just returned to Royse City from TIRR Memorial Herman Rehab Center in Houston where he spent several months in intense therapy. He has the use of one arm, partial use of the other arm, and no feeling in his body from the waist down.

The Interact Club decided shortly after the accident that they wanted to do something to help the family.

It was decided to have a Golf Tournament to help with the family's extra costs of remodeling their home, and any other expenses that insurance will not cover.

The Golf Tournament will be Saturday, April 12 at Stone River Golf Club in Royse City with a complimentary lunch at 11:30 and a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. There will be contests for the longest drive and closest to the pin. They are still looking for sponsors, players, and anything for their goody bags.
