Preparation for Camp RYLA 2024 began as soon as the last camper left in 2023, and now that we are entering February, all planning is full speed ahead!
All District 5810 clubs received their promotional and student selection materials at the RYLA kick-off last week. Each club’s RYLA chairperson and club committee will start the process of organizing and finalizing their camper selections over the upcoming next 6 to 7 weeks.
It takes dozens of volunteers and every club in the district to make Camp RYLA 5810 possible every year, and 2024 is looking to be another great year! Camp is from Sunday, May 26th – Friday May 31st.
Additionally, approximately 45 students (see above) from our 2023 camp were invited to participate with the RYLA 5810 Advisory Committee. This advisory group is a team of students who receive more leadership training as well as help with making preparations for the upcoming 2024 camp. These students meet once a month September 2023 through April 2024 to help create the best camp program for the next group of selected students.
