Last month, a PolioPlus presentation captivated the members of Fairview Rotary Club, as documented in the attached photo. The presenter, who had taken the initiative, successfully rallied the small 18-member club, resulting in a remarkable fundraising achievement of $3,220 during that particular meeting.

Taking advantage of the Bill & Melinda Gates matching program, the impact of the club's efforts amplified significantly, reaching an impressive total of almost $10,000—precisely $9,660.

Prior to the presentation, the presenter had engaged with club officers, proposing a $500 donation from the club to support the polio eradication initiative. To the delight of all, this proposal was accepted, and the announcement of the club's commitment was made immediately after the presentation.

The momentum continued as one generous member pledged to match all individual donations made by club members, setting a cap of $500 per member. This act of philanthropy sparked enthusiasm, leading to a rapid accumulation of funds, ultimately culminating in the substantial total of $3,220.
