On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, the Rotary Club of Duncanville made history!
In conjunction with South Toyota of Dallas, the Rotary Club of Duncanville honored the Duncanville ISD Superintendent, Dr. Marc Smith, with acknowledgments from the local, state, and national levels proclaiming September 13 as the official “Dr. Marc Smith Day”.
The event was a smashing success! The Duncanville band and cheerleaders greeted over 150 attendees at South Toyota and remarks were made by Duncanville Rotary Club President, Jennifer Lott, fellow Rotarian Al Moten, and a representative from Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett’s office. The honorary award was presented by fellow Rotarian and Mayor of Duncanville, Barry Gordon.
Dr.Smith is a member of the Rotary Club of Duncanville and has served as the Duncanville Superintendent for eight years.
