Allen Sunrise Rotary Club held a service project during the club meeting with DG John Curtis and AG Mike Bell at Elke's Market Cafe on July 12, 2023.
Our project aims to provide essential hygiene kits for the Streetside Showers initiative, a wonderful organization dedicated to offering free showers to homeless individuals in our society. By packaging these hygiene kits, we can contribute to their mission of providing not just a shower but also the necessary supplies for personal care. This project holds great significance as it directly impacts the well-being and dignity of those facing homelessness. Together, through our collective efforts, we can make a tangible difference by ensuring that individuals in need have access to clean and refreshing showers, accompanied by the right hygiene supplies. We joined hands to bring comfort, support, and a renewed sense of dignity to our homeless community members.
