The Irving Sunrise Club gathered on Saturday, November 18 to make fleece blankets in the 1st Annual Project Linus Blanketeer Day. Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the United States who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
Club Members were joined by friend from the community and students from Nimitz High School to make 15 blankets. It was a wonderful event!
