The Rotary Club of Melissa once again sponsored a successful Carter Blood Care of Texas blood drive on December 9th. The Melissa Rotary Club Service Committee supports the publicity and arranges the location (the Melissa United Methodist Church) in their bi-monthly campaign for 2023-2024, working with Carter BloodCare to collect much needed blood for Texans who need it.
Upcoming Melissa Rotary Carter Blood Care drives will be Feb 10, Apr 13, Jun 15, 2024. On December 9th, in addition to regular sign-ups online, there were 6 walk-ins, most likely due to the club's Public Image Committee posting signs in the community and posts on Facebook.
