It was the best Fourth of July Parade since before COVID. Thousands of people lined the parade route, and hundreds joined us for the Party in the Park following the Parade.
Our theme: “Freedom to Serve.”
Our Grand Marshal: Jan Langbein, CEO of Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support
Our Beneficiary: The North Texas Food Bank

Through the generosity of our sponsors and individual contributors, the parade raised $70,450 for the North Texas Food Bank. And – it was a great time! The parade featured floats from neighborhood businesses, entries of decorated new and vintage cars and fire trucks, representatives of the Town of Highland Park and the City of University Park, student floats from Highland Park H.S., SMU and the fourth grade from Boone Elementary, several Elvis’s, a few horses, and LOTS of candy! The fun continued in the park after the parade with free, family-friendly activities. It was a great day for Rotary and the Park Cities.
