Rotary eClub WOKE has partnered with the Girls Education Collaborative (GEC) based in Buffalo, NY. Millions of girls around the world are out of school, simply because they are girls.
The GEC works with local changemakers to drive social change through the power of girls’ education, starting first and foremost through a partnership with the Kitenga School for secondary eduction in Tanzania.  The GEC came to Rotary eClub WOKE in early 2019 for marketing strategy support, as they were in desperate need of a new website to better communicate their new vision and strategy.

Liza Larson and Lynne McNamee educated the GEC on website strategy, drafted an RFP for the GEC to use with potential agency/design partners, and provided feedback on the proposals received helping them select the best fit partner.  After a 3-month sprint in the summer/fall, the GEC is proud to have launched their redesigned website to support their new fundraising efforts and industry leadership strategy forward.  Visit https://girlsedcollaborative.org/ to see the finished piece.
