For the past four years, at the beginning of the school year, the Principal of the George Bush Elementary School (the only public school in Addison) has spoken to the Addison Midday Rotary Club.
Again this year, members of the AMRC collected and donated dry erase markers for the school's use.  Principal Carole Crowling 'hoards' the dry erase markers.  The teachers know that when they are out of markers, they can always get one from Principal Crowling.

This year, due to COVID-19, markers and cash were accepted.  In addition to this basket of dry-erase markers, over $150 was raised for the school to purchase more dry erase markers when needed.
