The Rotary EClub is proud to support the Binational Tuberculosis (TB) Program in partnership with the Texas Department of Health and families along the Rio Valley in Mexico. Thanks to the generous donations from Rotarians and friends, our club was able to contribute $1,750, providing food for 31 families—89 individuals—for an entire month, along with much-needed housing supplies.
Rotarians Linda and David personally traveled to the border to meet with Melissa Davis of the Texas Department of Health and deliver the cash donation to the Brownsville Sunrise Rotary Club, who will work alongside local nurses to purchase and distribute essential supplies.
