District 5810 in Texas made an important donation to the Rotary Club of Roatan. It sent 11 containers filled with thousands of items to support schools and communities on the island. This initiative was organized by PDG Regina Edwards, who has worked closely with Roatán since 2022. This effort has strengthened the bonds of service between her district and the Rotary Club of Roatan.
Recently, Regina Edwards visited the island to personally collaborate with the Rotary Club of Roatan in the distribution of donations, which included a wide variety of educational materials, school supplies, books, backpacks, sports equipment, educational games, and wheelchairs, among others.

The container donation, valued at USD 110,000, will be distributed to educational centers and community projects, benefiting hundreds of students and families. The shipment of 11,713 pounds, transported free of charge by Carnival Cruise Line, reaffirms the value of international cooperation and reflects the commitment of all parties involved to education, health, and the well-being of communities in Roatan, Honduras.
