Several members of the Royse City Rotary Club recently participated in a meaningful service project with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace Project, helping ensure local children have a safe and comfortable place to sleep.
Rotarians joined fellow volunteers to build 20 beds, all of which were delivered the very same day to children ages 18 and younger. For some of these children, it marked the first time they had ever slept in a bed of their own.
The project was a powerful reminder of how simple acts of service can create lasting impact. A bed is more than just furniture — it provides comfort, security, dignity, and a better opportunity for a child to rest and thrive.
