Preparation for Camp RYLA 2019 began as soon as the last camper left in 2018, and now that we are entering May, all planning is full speed ahead!
All clubs have finalized their camper selections, and counselors have been selected as well. In fact, counselors have been involved in monthly training exercises since February. Our entire staff will be finalized in the next few weeks.
Seven orientation meetings are coming up in May in various locations around the district. At these meetings, Rotarians, parents, and campers will be familiarized with the pre-camp process as well as all the fun to be had at Camp RYLA 2019. All students have filled out an initial information packet, and this year for the first time, we are implementing a new online medical form for all participants.
It takes dozens of volunteers and every club in the district to make Camp RYLA 5810 possible every year, and 2019 is looking to be the best year yet! Camp is from Sunday, July 28 - Friday August 2.
