Rotary Club of Dallas Made the Fifth Round of ‘Cookies for Cops’ to Remind Dallas Police Department That Rotary Appreciates and Supports Them
September 20 the Rotary Club of Dallas once again packed and personally delivered cookies to each Dallas Police Officer and all the administrative staff in the DPD headquarters. This represents the fifth and final part of our service project this past year to reach the entire DPD with message of gratitude for their sacrifice.
Cookies for Cops is just a part of a broader program of collaboration with the DPD to support and actively participate in their community outreaches through neighborhood block parties, Coloring with Cops, and book fairs with the objective of creating trust and rapport with citizens in high crime neighborhoods.
