Coppell Rotary was happy to provide funding to the Coppell Historical Society for the development of the Bethel School Steps Flower Garden located in Heritage Park in Old Town Coppell.
These steps belong to one of the original Coppell schools, Bethel School, established approximately in 1858. The city unearthed the steps in a Coppell resident's backyard and transplanted them to Heritage Park. “We are just blown away by the support we have received from our residents, the city and Coppell Rotary,” said Chris Long, President of the Coppell Historical Society. “Coppell Rotary has always been there to refurbish a historic home, clean out a flower bed or fund projects for Heritage Park. We appreciate their commitment to our community.”
