The Rotary Club of Dallas helped a Texas Veteran obtain a new service dog to preserve mobility. The Veteran, who retired medically from the Texas Army National Guard due to a physical syndrome, needed support after the first service dog aged out and could no longer meet mobility needs.

With long waiting lists at most charitable service-dog programs, the Veteran sought alternative funding to secure a new dog as quickly as possible. Thanks to the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation, half of the dog’s cost was funded. The Veteran and the new service dog are now partners in daily work. Meet Roulette!
