This week, the Rotary Club of Carrollton-Farmers Branch celebrated another milestone at Gussie Field Waterworth Park—better known as Farmers Branch Rotary Playground. Eight years ago, the club partnered with the City of Farmers Branch to raise more than $175,000 to build this all-accessible playground, ensuring children of all abilities could enjoy a safe and inclusive place to play.

On Tuesday, we gathered once again with city leaders—including the Mayor, City Council members, and dedicated city staff—to officially dedicate a brand-new feature: the WE-Go-Round, an all-accessible merry-go-round. Our club contributed $40,000 toward this project, and we couldn’t be prouder to see it come to life.

The Rotary Club of Carrollton-Farmers Branch remains committed to serving the youth of our community—whether through supporting local charities or adding joyful, inclusive spaces like this one.

👏 A big thank you to the City of Farmers Branch and their incredible team for partnering with us to make this dream a reality!
