Hi all - or should I say - YAHOO! I am privileged and honored to serve you this year as your District Governor. I am excited to get started on visits to your clubs and also attending your club events!
Many thanks to DG Regina and her team for their amazing work in 2024-25, It takes a village of support to serve as district governor and she made it look easy!
Our focus this year will continue to be on growing club membership, raising funds for The Rotary Foundation to support the great service projects that we do and one new focus: developing future leaders for our District. You will hear more about these at my visit to your clubs!
The Rotary International Convention in Calgary was very energizing and motivating. It was great to meet other Rotarians from around the world and also connect with those from our District and others from surrounding districts. We were introduced to our new RI President, Francesco Arezzo, who is from Italy. The Presidential message for 25-26 is Unite for Good, which calls on members to be a force for unity in a world increasingly divided by politics, geography and ideology.
