Hope the holidays were wonderful for all!.  We have reached the half way mark for our Rotary year and thing are going very well.  As of the latest report, we have increased membership by 164 members.  About a third of this is due to the formation of the Suicide Prevention and Brain Health club but also congratulations  to the Commerce, Greenville, Grand Prairie Metro, Park Cities and Preston Trail clubs for increasing membership by 8 or more.

January is End Human Trafficking month.  In my visits I requested that each club conduct a service day relating to Ending Human Trafficking.  Please contact Shirley Hsia at shirley7239@gmail.com to let her know the nature and date of your projects.  If you are still looking for ideas, we will hear from a few of the clubs on their project at our January 15 Roundtable.

BE SURE TO WEAR BLUE ON JANUARY 11 TO BRING AWARENESS TO THE CAUSE OF ENDING HUMAN TRAFFICKING.  And as you do, take pictures and post them on social media.  Pam Blankenzee has an EHT graphic you can post with your picture.

Finally, mark April 22 and 23 on your calendar for our District Conference.  Details are currently being finalized but we plan to host a competitive bowling event on the evening  of Friday April 22 at Pinstack on I635.  We are hoping to have teams from the Presidents, PDGs, AGs, Rotaractors and Interactors as well as club teams.

If you are a President elect or President Nominee, please go to the Lonestar PETS site to register for PETS scheduled in person from February 24-27.
Saturday April 23 we will gather at Brookhaven Country Club for our conference presentations.  Finally, that evening we will hold a gala at Brookhaven to recognize all levels of Paul Harris recipients.
