It has been a wonderful experience visiting each of our 63 clubs in the Distrct.Now that official visits have been completed, I will be concentrating on our District goals for the year. She uses the monthly publication, In & Around Magazine to bring awareness to nonprofits across North Texas. These ‘Champion’ articles have proven to create an increase in volunteerism and resources by the public to these organizations.
Each club should conduct a project to recognize World Polio Day which is October 24. Polio has been eradicated across the globe except for Pakistan and Afghanistan. It is so important to keep up the vaccines for complete eradication.
During September, several members of our District Leadership team received training at the Rotary Zone Institute. During the Foundation presentation, every club was requested to give a minimum of $1,500 to Rotary Foundation. Please help your club do their part.
