North Texas Pioneers service project this month was sending $500 to Venice/Nokomis Foundation through the Venice, Florida Rotary club. The foundation provides reconstructive surgery for children in Peru with cleft lips and palates.
The foundation helps to train Peruvian doctors, buys surgical equipment, provide healthcare centers, speech therapy for the children, travel, meals, and lodging for the families of the children plus much more. This is life-changing treatments for those who need it most in Peru.
