With stories and fun facts, Ms. McCullough had us in stitches at the Wylie East Fork Rotary June 10th lunch meeting.
Oh, the stories they can tell. Ms. McCullough, Crossing Guard Supervisor for City of Wylie, shared a story of a youngster heading to school, wobbly on his bike. He rolled up to his usual gregarious Crossing Guard eager to share he brought a dollar for the special snow cone truck coming at lunch.  As he told his story, the student pulled out his wallet to show off his money and that dollar bill was gone. The disappointment was severe so the Guard donated her own dollar to the boy's lunch time delight. As the young boy proceeded on his way, a construction worker held up his hand to protect the student from running into debris. That boy marched into the school office declaring he'd been mugged, twice!
