For several decades members of the Rotary Club of Park Cities have been preparing and serving dinner once a month to the families staying at Ronald McDonald House – until the COVID pandemic.
“The House” has been slow to reopen to volunteers due to the compromised immune systems of many of the children – but at last! – their dinner buffet was open and RCPC volunteers could return to serve dinner. On the menu was beef or vegetable lasagna, prepared by club members, chicken, cooked vegetables, salad, and dessert, also brought by our volunteers. Club members were glad to be able to serve and support these families again in a personal way at such a difficult time in their lives.
