It is always a great pleasure for Prestonwood to honor the Dallas Police Department at our Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Officers from DPD filled the room for lunch at the delicious and bountiful buffet at Prestonwood Country Club.

Three deserving officers: Senior Corporal Tyler Remediz, Officer Nathaniel Draughon, and Sergeant Kelvin Pope were introduced by members of Prestonwood Rotary: Mike Goethals, David Echols, and Mark Hoffman.
Each officer was presented with a plaque for Outstanding Service, gift certificates from several restaurants and Star-power, a cold-water bottle, and a check. Interact students from PTAA made thank you cards to present to the honorees and added them to their 'goodie bags'. These very deserving officers received accolades from Prestonwood's members, guests, fellow officers, and DPD chiefs.
The program ended with a presentation of a check for $1,000 for the Assist The Officer Foundation, given in honor of Officer Darron Lee Burks, Senior Corporal Karrisa Gorman, and Senior Corporal Jamie Farmer.
