Mason Brown of the Rowlett Rotary Club was raised in the world of Rotary international by her dedicated Rotarian mother, Emily Stupnik. This year Mason is undertaking Passion Projects - Projects that are near and dear to her heart, the club’s heart, and the Rowlett community.
For 2025, Mason hit the pavement securing local businesses to serve as donation collection sites for Rowlett Animal Services. She also coordinated a raffle to raise cash and use social media heavily to get donations. The result is enough blankets and towels to serve the shelter for a year! Plus, a bit of cash to help with other expenses, such as medical care for the shelter animals.
