When the Rotary Club of Collin County chartered on May 11, 2021, incoming President Lenda Fidelman wanted a special program speaker and a dynamic topic for an early Fall meeting.
Two goals for this Rotary year are 1) increase membership by 30 percent and 2) increase member attendance by 100 percent! With that in mind, the Leadership Team made several suggestions for program speakers. We also wanted a venue large enough to invite Rotarians from other clubs as well as potential members.
Who in the McKinney and Collin County area would motivate people to attend a Rotary meeting and maybe decide to join?
Maylee Thomas-Fuller, a widely-known musician and singer, and her husband, George Fuller, who is the Mayor of McKinney, are one of the area's best known couples. Plus, the couple owns and operates a beautiful event center known as The Sanctuary in Adriatica!

"Maylee and the Mayor" will present a program about their "Love Life Foundation" for the Collin County Rotary Club on Thursday, September 2, 5:30 PM at The Sanctuary Event Center, 6633 Virginia Parkway, Suite 102, McKinney, TX 75070. The Sanctuary is located in Adriatica, a replica of a Croatian village.
