The Melissa Rotary Club sponsored a Memorial Day observance honoring those who have given their lives in service to our country, our First responders, and the Health Professionals who are servicing our community during the COVID pandemic.
First Responders, Health Professionals, and Veterans held flags while community members conducted a silent parade around the City Plaza area. Other community members watched from the sidewalks and benches all in honor of those who serve. Rotary conducts an annual observance on Memorial Day and Veterans Day to acknowledge and remember those who serve our community. Monday’s observance was different due to the conditions of the quarantine, but allowed us all to remember and honor our community members that serve us in so many ways.
