Daybreak Greenville packaging hygiene kits. These kits will be utilized for the homeless who visit the weekly mobile shower provided by United Way of Hunt County.
The shower project was something the Daybreak club attempted during Randy Daw's presidency. Unfortunately, it did not come to fruition and we lost Randy shortly thereafter. The club thought it a fitting tribute to memorialize him with this service project that we will likely do multiple times a year. Randy Daw 1954-2019 Randy was the President of Daybreak Greenville Rotary in 2015-2016. He was the pastor of Creekside Church of Christ (formerly Johnson Street COC).
He served in ministry for over 40 years, a total of 21 in Greenville at Creekside (Johnson St). He also planned and participated in several mission trips all over the world and spoke 2 other languages. He was a Renaissance man. He loved music and volunteered with the Greenville Family Theater, in addition to the work he did composing, arranging, and editing for Timeless, a songbook series written from the book of Psalms.
