The Mesquite Rotary Club donated nonperishable food to benefit Sharing Life Community Outreach and their clients in a Food Drive on December 14th.
With Christmas approaching and the Covid-19 pandemic continuing, the need is again great this year.  Sharing Life’s Executive Director and CRO Teresa Jackson expressed her gratitude for the club’s donations.  Rotary member John Taylor served as the chairman for the drive.

You can also assist by making your own donation of food at Sharing Life’s location, 3544 Emporium Circle, Mesquite, 75150, or by simply donating funds online at their website.  That address is www.sharinglifeoutreach.org.

Any donations of nonperishable items as Sharing Life gets Christmas food boxes ready for their client families will be welcomed.  Items needed include such things as baking supplies, cookie or brownie mixes, canned meat, canned vegetables, gelatin, peanut butter, jelly, and more.

The Mesquite Rotary Club meets at the MISD K. David Belt PDC on the first, second, and third Tuesday of each month at noon.  For more details on the group, visit their website at www.mesquitetxrotary.org.
