Monday, August 26 was National Toilet Paper Day and to celebrate that the Rotary Club of CarrolltonFarmers Branch held its 4th Annual toilet paper drive. Toilet paper is the single most expensive item to keep in a food pantry and our club drive assisted Metrocrest Services, a local non-profit organization, to keep toilet paper stocked for 6 months.
Our annual drive with El Rincon in downtown Carrollton yielded 1,504 rolls and our club purchased another 11,136 rolls from a local distributor. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next August drive at El Rincon!
