The Rotary Club of Park Cities had a very successful Packing Day Event at the North Texas Food Bank on Saturday, October 16th.
With a combination of RCPC and Hillcrest High School Interact Members our clubs created around 6,000 weekend meals for Dallas Area school kids. This program is to ensure that these kids are able to have nutritious food over the weekend when they are away from the meal programs at their schools. Under the leadership of RCPC member Stan Wright the totals for the morning were as follows: Boxes = 288, Bags = 1,440, Pallets = 6, Pounds = 7,200 and Meals = 6,000! Stan remarked, “RCPC did a lot of good on that Saturday.”
