Park Cities Rotary recently joined forces with the North Texas Food Bank to make a substantial impact on local communities. On May 3rd, a dedicated group of 25 volunteers from Park Cities Rotary gathered at the food bank's facility to lend a helping hand. Their mission: to sort and pack nutritious meals for children and seniors in need.

Throughout the day, the volunteers worked tirelessly, sorting and packing a remarkable total of 31,003 meals. These meals are vital contributions to the food bank's ongoing efforts to support kid programs and seniors across the North Texas area.

"This event truly showcased the spirit of community and service that defines Park Cities Rotary," said Susan Glen, Event Chair. "It's incredible to see the tangible difference we can make when we come together with a shared purpose."

The impact of this volunteer effort extends far beyond the numbers. Each meal packed represents nourishment, hope, and support for individuals and families facing food insecurity. Park Cities Rotary remains committed to continuing their efforts to serve and uplift their community.
