During a recent visit, members were deeply moved by the scenes in the hospital waiting room. Patients and families, many of whom had traveled from all across India, gathered in hopes of receiving life-changing care. For those in need, the hospital also provides lodging and meals, ensuring access is not limited by circumstance.
While the hospital itself is simple and often crowded, the treatments and surgeries performed within its walls are both sterile and state-of-the-art. Among the most remarkable services offered are the free corneal transplants—giving the gift of sight to those who would otherwise remain in darkness.
The gratitude of the patients and their families is profound. With every successful procedure, Rotary’s commitment to service above self shines through. Thanks to the support of our District and dedicated partners, lives are being transformed one surgery at a time.
