The Rotary Club of Park Cities is preparing for a busy Autumn of service. The year has already started with their long-standing service projects of Meals on Wheels and Preparing Dinner once a month at Ronald McDonald House.

During their regular meeting on September 26, club members will prepare care packets to be used the next day at the Foot Care Clinic for the Homeless at Austin Street Center. Club member, Holly McKasson has organized this for several years, and club members volunteer to take part in this very rewarding project. On October 18 RCPC will have its traditional Dentistry With a Heart, organized by RCPC member, Dr. Michael Rainwater. RCPC members also volunteer for this event, which provides thousands of dollars of free dental care to the homeless.
The following week RCPC members will volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank, coordinated by RCPC member Susan Glen. During the Holiday Season RCPC member Jerry Washam and several other members will organize the Tree Lighting in Snider Plaza which kicks off the Christmas season, is fun for all ages and raises funds for charity. ALL members are encouraged to volunteer in this event. The club will also be working with the Salvation Army during the holidays. Stay tuned!
