It was a perfect day to raise money and awareness for the Rockwall Rotary Club’s important causes. The club recently held their annual Clay Shoot fundraiser, and raised more than $30,000 to give back to the community as well as to Rotary International causes.
There were 35 volunteer Rotarians on hand to support the effort on site, and many more had worked prior to the event preparing for the big day. The weather was perfect, and more than 80 shooters participated at the Texas Gun Ranch in Terrell, Texas. There were a number of sponsors that helped with the event and made the day fun and successful in the second year for the event. Top shooters won custom belt buckles, and two exclusive shotguns were raffled off as prizes, too. In the end, a great time was had by all… and all for a great cause!
