The Rockwall High School Interact Club, in conjunction with the Rockwall Rotary Club, recently spearheaded a project to raise awareness and much needed items for Women in Need, Inc.
With an aim to end domestic violence, the local nonprofit helps to support primarily women and children by providing “refuge, empowerment and restoration to families.” That’s a tall order that often requires a lot of supplies. So the RHS Interact Club readily stepped in to do their part.

The students collected piles of books, toys, towels, essential items and even money to assist WIN in their mission. Most importantly, the teens raised awareness for the organization’s cause, which could very well help make a difference for a lifetime.
