On Thursday April 30th, members of the Rotary Club of Plano rolled up their sleeves and spent a productive afternoon volunteering at the Plano ISD Foundation Core Store, tackling essential inventory work to support local educators and students. With smiles and camaraderie, Rotarians sorted, counted, and organized shelves full of donated classroom supplies, technology accessories, and educational materials, ensuring the store’s resources were accurately tracked and readily available for teachers across the district.
Their hands-on efforts helped streamline operations at this vital hub, which provides free and low-cost supplies to Plano ISD schools, ultimately amplifying the impact of community donations. The group’s dedication not only strengthened the Core Store’s ability to serve but also embodied Rotary’s commitment to service and education in the Plano community. Participating members included Jerry Aris, Paul Hernandez, Jillian Hiris, Nancy Humphrey, Richard “Rocco” Maucieri, Maria Mott, Chad Nail and John Priest.
