The RYLA Information Roundup/Kick-Off for the District 5810 Camp RYLA Program will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Dallas College/Brookhaven Campus. Located at 3939 Valley View Ln, Farmers Branch, TX 75244.
Rotary Club RYLA Chairpersons should attend this training program designed to get Camp RYLA 2023 student recruiting and selection started. The meeting is the only chairpersons training of the year so every club should be represented.
The training is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. RYLA manuals and recruiting materials will be distributed, including copies of the updated Camp RYLA and Making a Difference video. The meeting is also open to any Rotarian interested in learning more about Camp RYLA prior to the 32nd annual leadership camp. May 28 – June 2, 2023.
We are eager to see everyone there! Each club is receiving all pertinent information for this meeting through their RYLA Chairperson and Club Presidents. Keep an eye out for your email invite or if you not seeing information sent a note to inforyla5810@gmail.com
Additionally, approximately 45 students (see photo above) from our 2022 camp were invited to participate with the RYLA 5810 Advisory Committee. The advisory group is a team of students who receive more leadership training and help with making preparations for the next year's camp. These students will be meeting once a month September 2022 through April 2023 to help create the best camp program for the next group of selected students.
