On Saturday April 13, 293 Rotarians, Interactors, and volunteers came together at McKinney North High School to celebrate the accomplishments District 5810 achieved over the course of the year at Spring Fling. Twenty eight Interact clubs were named as a Club of Excellence and six were recognized for some of their greatest achievements such as the Highest Earning Fundraiser by John Paul II High School Interact Club ($6000) and the Most Service Projects by Singley Academy Interact Club (16 service projects).
Two multi-club service projects were conducted at Spring Fling where 566 pairs of socks were donated to Samaritan Inn and 462 backpacks filled with school supplies were made for students in Puerto Rico. Students from over 40 Interact clubs across the District came together to have fun, meet new people, and promote service over self. Spring Fling 2019 was a success!
