Members of the Rotary Club of McKinney were honored to attend the grand opening of Hugs Cafe's new location, celebrating an important milestone for one of our community's most inspiring organizations.
During the celebration, the club presented a commemorative plaque recognizing the grand opening and the valued partnership between Hugs Cafe and the Rotary Club of McKinney. The event was especially meaningful, as Rotarians had previously toured the facility while it was still under construction, witnessing firsthand the vision that has now become a vibrant reality.
Representing the club were Mark Potter, who serves on the Hugs Cafe Board of Directors; Mayor Bill Cox, a fellow Rotarian; Immediate Past President Stephanie Talley; President Elect Rob Wythe; Public Image Chair Anca Wetegrove; Rotary International Foundation Chair Penni Goodpasture; and Frederik Frazier. Their presence highlighted Rotary's continued commitment to supporting organizations that create opportunities, promote inclusion, and strengthen the McKinney community.
Congratulations to the entire Hugs Cafe team on this remarkable achievement.
