North Texas Pioneers had a Veterans Day dinner attended by about 15 veterans. There was a missing soldier table honoring the missing in war soldiers and a very interesting explanation of the tomb of the unknown soldiers. VFW Post 4830 was presented a check from the funds raised at the club’s pancake breakfast and Halloween party.
The speaker was from Patriot Paws gave a history of the training of dogs to be available to help veterans. She had a young golden retriever with her which was still in training. They were also given a check from the club. A very interesting evening honoring the veterans.
