The Rockwall Rotary Club has collected loads of peanut butter – to the tune of 276 pounds! That translates into 222 meals served to those who need them.
The Rotarians donated the peanut butter to the North Texas Food Bank, to help fill their food pantry, and assist them in helping others. The Food Bank employees greeted them warmly, as they had been short of their goal in collections, until the Rockwall Rotarians showed up with their donation. Why peanut butter, you ask… it’s because it is considered “shelf-stable,” and long lasting.
