The Rotary Club or White Rock, Dallas has continued to live up to its unofficial mantra “We are little but we tallawah (tallawah = impactful)” throughout 2025 and into 2026. In Rotary impact is defined by purpose, not size.

As a small club members show that when committed people come together in the spirit of Rotary International, we can create a powerful ripple of service. In December we ended the year wrapping and distributing Christmas presents to selected families in the parish of St. Patrick Catholic church in Lake Highlands – Enid Jones, (not in picture) Helen Stettler, Walt McCool, Roger Pryor, Ed Schaefer and Tom Stutz were involved.
The happiness and sense of wonder on the faces of the children when they open the door and realize what is being delivered is priceless. The camaraderie with community members serving a common purpose is invaluable.
To begin the new year, members showed up, despite the cold winds, for our monthly White Rock Lake monthly cleanup project. Our commitment to this project keeps us in collaboration with other groups in the community who have a dedicated day to keep our lake healthy and beautiful.
