The Rockwall Noon Rotary Club and the Rockwall High School Interact Club have a strong connection. Members of the Interact Club join the clubs meetings occasionally to meet up with our members.
A few Interact members are going to be participating in internships with the Rotarians they met that own businesses in their field of interest. Recently the Interact Club held their first end of the year banquet at the Rotary Hall where the club reviewed each of their projects throughout the year. This club did a service project each month as well as a fundraiser to raise money to send girls to school in Malawi. The club also completed local, national and international projects and had a fantastic year under the supervision of their sponsor, teacher Cheri Whitelock.
The collaboration and support between the clubs is incredible and was important to Rockwall's president Lorne Liechty and youth services board member Named Braaten. We see many future Rotarians coming out of the Rockwall High School Interact Club and we excited to continue to support one another in the years to come!
