The Rotary Club of Dallas presented $6,000 to the North Texas Food Bank on January 11th. The funds were donations collected at two holiday events hosted by President Elect Nominee Hubert Zajicek.
Dallas College has partnered with the NTFB to provide a mobile food pantry that delivers fresh produce and milk to each campus monthly. The Rotary Club of Dallas volunteered at Dallas College Richland Campus and provided meals for a total of 343 people. Volunteers from The Rotary Club of Dallas, Dallas College students and personnel spent the morning filling the trunks for 77 families with nearly 11,000 lbs. of food. The NTFB is committed to providing Food for Today and Hope for Tomorrow as we continue to work toward the vision of creating a hunger-free and healthy North Texas.
